Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has ruled out Liverpool selling Darwin Nunez in January, with the club’s hopes of winning the Premier League title this season being affected.

The Uruguayan striker has been link with a move away from Anfield following a string of poor displays, with the club reportedly rejecting a £70m bid from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
While there is little chance that Nunez will โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที move if the Reds get their bid, Gary believes the 25-year-old could still be useful to the club for the rest of the season.
Nunez, meanwhile, has score just two league goals this season, starting only seven matches, and has been link with a move away in January.
Liverpool has reportedly knocked back interest in the Uruguayan from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, and Neville believes that it should stand firm until the summer at least.
“If I were the owner of the club, I would say to the sporting director and the coach, if we have to accept that offer, will it affect us winning the league?” Gary said. “The coach can sit back and relax, but the sporting director will think he wants the money, but will it leave Arne Slot without players?”
“I will keep him. I will keep him until the end of the season because I don’t want to risk the league. He can still come in and score goals for the team.”
Nunez scored 18 goals for the Reds in 23/24 and has stepped in this season when there have been injuries in the frontline.
