Cesc Fabregas is the favourite to become Bayer Leverkusen new manager. The Bundesliga side are in the market for a new manager after Xabi Alonso announced he would leave the club at the end of the season to take over at former club Real Madrid.

Alonso’s former team-mate Fabregas has impressed fans with his performances at Como in Serie A and Leverkusen want him to be their next manager. According to Marca, the

The 38-year-old guided Como to the top flight last summer after a 21-year absence, which saw them comfortably avoid relegation. And currently sitting in 10th place thanks to Sunday’s 3-1 win over Cagliari,
Fabregas is currently contract to the Italian side until 2028, meaning the club would have to demand compensation if Leverkusen wanted him.
The only issue left is how much Fabregas could cost. Reports in Italy have differed, with some saying he can leave while others say Como will demand a fee, similar to how Leverkusen are also demanding a fee for Alonso to Real Madrid.
